Our beloved friend Doug has passed on

Doug and I had a long PM discussion over at Skeptiko about the fact that he was going to die. He and I were friends right back to the time when I first started moderating Skeptiko, and he helped me enormously by producing long lists of dodgy members who had commercial links in their profile.

He said he was going to get in touch with me if possible after he had passed, but in the end nothing happened. However, I think I am extremely dense when it comes to psi.

If Chuck and Manjit both had their experiences very close together, I'd say that is quite significant. Is there anyone else here with anything to report, I wonder.

Exact same here.

Maybe he's having too much fun in his new adventures! That's what I'm wishing him.

Never had dream about Doug or "trancestate" before or after. I do a lot of dreaming and that particular night there was a unique energy. The feeling was also strong during the periods when I would wake between dreams in my half sleep. I felt I was being contacted. The funny thing was, I think the timing was not immediately after he passed. There is also the possibility that Manjit and I could have influenced each others dreams in some way.

Are you 100% sure about that, Enrique?

A couple of points:

1. "That" Doug has been using that photo since at least October 2014. I imagine that "our" Doug would have called him out about it while he was still alive if he'd noticed.
   
2. The photo really doesn't look like "our" Doug to me, based on other photos I have.
   

You wrote in the Skeptiko thread that "our" Doug had sent you the photo by email. Have you actually sighted the photo and put it side-by-side with "that" Doug's avatar to be certain that they're the same photo/person?

I'm sorry if these are offensive questions, I just know from debugging technical problems that sometimes you have to ask the "obvious" questions.
