Favourite NDE video accounts or documentaries

I decided to organize and go through the NDE video material collected on my hard drive over the years, and put into a separate folder the better ones.

I thought that whatever I'd find that was good to excellent I'd share here - these are personal choices, and I can like them for various reasons (convincing, deep, interesting, moving, veridical, etc.). Some of this material may have already been posted on this forum, I won't check every time to see if it already has.

If these are still online, I'll link to them. If they aren't anymore, I'll upload them on YT and link to those new uploads.

Anyone is welcome to put theirs here too if they feel like it, and maybe say a few words as to why you like it.

This is a short and sweet one from a 2007 L.A. IANDS group, "Michaela". Nothing extraordinary here but I like the bit where she comes back near to her body afterwards, overhears her family in other parts of the hospital, and is later able to report to them what she heard them say.

Mine has long been Wayne Morrison’s, it’s posted elsewhere on the forum, but I’ll post it again here if that’s ok? It’s my favourite because he seems so honest, I love it when he gets emotional at one point, not sad emotional, but joyous. I also think it’s so powerful when he describes what he tried to do on coming back. I wrote to Wayne and he confirmed that he wasn’t looking for anything, he just made the video so that others could know about it. I’ve just listened to it once again - love it. He’s honest, humble and grateful and imo describes his experience very convincingly.
Another thing worth mentioning is the definite mental message he received which changed his actions when he ‘came back’. This is worth keeping in mind when reading my thread on Other Topics, about influence from other dimensions. I’d forgotten this when posting that thread.

Oh my God, I hate all this.   Surprise

Michaela C...…... (nee Roser as she was there), the young lady at the top, I believe now has two children. In her NDE she saw a preview of her future life including seeing her grandchildren, which is interesting. She was very severely injured; I saw her injuries in a documentary and she was very lucky to make a full recovery, thank goodness.

As to favourites, there are so many interesting ones. Personally, only the certified cardiac arrest reports really intrigue me, although there are exceptions of course. Glimpses of death, I think is a gem because of Peter Fenwick at the beginning of his interest in NDE's and Michael Sabom talking about his ground-breaking study.

The clip of Pete Morton the night-watchman is fascinating for me. To put a face to that report that I originally read in 1981 was great (I must be a saddo Wink ) and brings it even more to life. BTW I intend to contact Dr Sabom to see if he can tell me where I can watch that programme, whatever it was. If anyone on here knows, please let me know.

I also remember waiting for the results of Sabom's study to come out. Sabom himself was very sceptical and it wasn't known then whether or not he was going to be able to come up with any veridical evidence. He certainly didn't think he would find anything. When he did, of course, the sceptics didn't like it and started smearing him as a secret believer and a religious nut.

That’s a very interesting video tim. Thanks for posting it.

French house painter, Alain J. Laurendeau,  was violently electrocuted when his aluminium extension pole accidently made contact with over head power cables, while working outside on a ladder. He was very severely burnt and clearly at deaths door. During efforts/operations to save his life, he experienced a profound NDE which he briefly describes here.

Monsieur Laurendeau was clearly not interested in the metaphysical; he was a simply a hard worker going about the business of earning his living, yet his NDE contains many of the classic elements, including being told that "spirit beings" can routinely deliver messages (to us) as a matter of fact. Even sceptics would admit, this is not something that painters and decorators routinely ponder....

The subtitles are hard to follow so I've transcribed them so they can be read a little easier.

If someone had told me he'd (they'd) experienced what I did, I wouldn't have believed him (them). I work as a painter and while doing my job, I received a 14,000+ volt electric shock. As I was lying in the emergency room, I was (became) outside of my body. I walked around and tried to talk to my wife but it didn't go as intended (didn't work)

Suddenly a light ball appeared (ball of light) and kept getting bigger. It attracted me and made me feel great. As I got close to it
my view has been pointed (directed) to the floor. I saw feet with sandals on and I recognised my grandfather who was there with a friend. My grandfather who died in 1981 was right in front of me!

In this world everyone looks like they are twenty years old. There are all forms of angels there (?) The people and the surroundings there were of indescribable beauty.  Then I went for a walk feeling happy and joyful and asked my 'soul leader' (spiritual guide) some questions. He told me that they were delivering messages to the souls (communicating with those on earth)

I asked him how that works ? He said "It just (does) works"  Nobody seemed to worry about anything over there. Also they don't have a physical head or brain, it's just a spiritual world of souls (spirit beings). Later I had to go back to my own body
which I didn't want to do at first. The thought of it was just repulsive! But I still decided to do it.

Once I came back, it seemed to me like I was upside down in my own body (laughs). I cried a lot because I realised that my whole life up until this point was ruined. My whole life has gotten (become) mixed up and I didn't know what to do after this experience.

When we feel physical pain, we would all want to be in that special place, that other world but despite my pain, I decided against suicide because it would feel like cheating (to get back into that place) . This life is a challenge in itself and we need to fight through it.

So the Michaela video I posted first I put in the "B" category (good). The "A" I'll leave for "very good to excellent".

This is another "B". There's no one particular element that makes it better for me, just an overall impression. A doctor who was in cardiac arrest for 15 minutes, and helped by his colleagues.

A very authentic and impressive report, Ian. A man of science definitely dead, wakes up beneath his assisting/resuscitating colleague with that report on his lips. There's another interview with him on line about his experience. I had it saved to favourites but it's gone, somehow. I'm just trying to recall his full name.

I'm putting this one in the "A" category.

She went into cardiac arrest while giving birth because of a medical error (the beginning of the video is missing).

I really find the thing about the silver cords cool, given the mediumship lore, but it has also featured in other NDEs:
https://www.near-death.com/science/resea...-cord.html

Also a moving life-review, her ability to feel what the others around her are feeling, and her reporting back to doctors what they were saying while she was clinically dead.
