Psience Quest

Heard this on the radio today - cranked up loud through headphones

OK, so, I know that most folks haven't really warmed to the African percussive music I've posted in the past (based on "likes", admittedly a flimsy metric at best), but maybe this one will warm more to folks' hearts. It certainly captures mine:

Smooth jaaazz...  

...and from smooth jazz, to an exceptionally aggravated feline.    *meow*

Presenting thsese two next songs always feels like there have to be presented with some sort of "waivers". To say that one like either of them people assume one have to be either a communist or an British imperialist.....I'm neither,lol

Since I'm neither Russian or British I feel like I can appreciate these songs regardless of th ´connotations´ or "history" behind them, and just appreciate them for how powerful they are, as a musical piece....and they are.

So listen to without "thinking"....´







The above anthem might sound powerful, but this one below have more "hearth" to it.......I know it's not the anthem "anthem".(God save the Queen)    but the audience singing at the end of it is just amazing.

Quite how I arrived at this I'm not sure, partly it was from listening to the "Marseillaise", then by some mysterious sequence of steps ended up here:

This was one of the pieces along the way. Earlier today I was visualising letting unwanted thoughts drift away on the tide or on a river. The pictures here seem to fit quite closely. The sound - not what I'd commonly listen to, but it is hypnotic.
