Waiting For The Rain - Manfred Mann's Earth Band

Speaking about the rain... An old beautiful song from Roxette:

It's not Christmas time yet, butt these boys are really nailing their hymn...

Carol of the Bells

An unfortunate typo in your last post, Pollux, especially in the context of the Church.

Carol of the Bells
I sometime look for alternative versions of this song - originally a pagan folk-song to be sung in January (or possibly later?), a looking forward to the bounty that the coming springtime will bring.

I like this, it is closer to a raw peasant sound, though still well-presented.

Also an unusual solo rendition which I like:
Carol of the Bells on Handpan (a.k.a. "Hang Drum")

Hah; what aboutt the butt......

I remember one time when I spent a really long post, on another forum, about Gordon Ramsay, and referred to him on several occasions in the post as; the cock, instead of; the cook - to the amusement of the other forum-members there. Big Grin `The cock Gordon Ramsay´ this, and `the cock Gordon Ramsay´ that, and on and on....

My English grammar really suck from time to time, but since I am a non-native speaker of English, I hope I make myself understood here, from time to time. Blush
I`spell like a rake´ & `write like a crow´, as we use to say....

Yea, but the man singing the bass-tone really sucked though... Big Grin

Speaking of alternative versions of this song, I found this one. Smile

Well, I'm a bit of a folk fan - regardless of ethnicity, and it is the raw edges of ordinary people which actually make the genre worthwhile for me. I do like music with rough edges. One of my favourite songs came from an obscure compilation CD and was by a male choir from Corsica - sadly I can't seem to track down anything of similar quality from the same region.
