Late last night, this tune came into my head, it was popular with my (now deceased) father. Just thinking of it made me smile. There are many recordings available, but this one I really appreciated. No backing-tracks or amplifiers, just live instruments and singers.

I have to go shopping now Wink

Yes, Stanley. Yes.

I found it through Mono Neon, the bass player. He’s one of my mate Jo the pro’s (bass player) favourites. He’s good and getting better, but will mainstream ever accept him?  Big Grin

I am Mainstream and I approve this message. Thumbs Up
Creative mix of live and recorded instruments.

A focus on Danny Carey drumming live as part of the band Tool for their song "Pneuma". I thought I might have shared this video previously in this thread but apparently not. Though I'm only a lightweight, amateur, hobbyist percussionist, I sometimes recognise polyrhythmic talent when I see it, and in this case it's unmistakeable.
