Yet more corroborative statements on UFOs from credible military figures

In the news: yet other authoritative, experienced and expert figures in the military are making corroborative statements on the reality of UFOs. Skeptics will scoff, but they have yet to explain how there can be so much smoke without a correspondingly great fire.

Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet now corroborates Karl Nell's statement on LinkedIN: "My colleague, retired Army Colonel Karl Nell said with 100% certainty that the world is being visited by higher level, non-human intelligence (NHI). I know he is correct with complete certainty." Background on Gallaudet: In addition to being a Rear Admiral in the Navy, Gallaudet was also the administrator of NOAA. (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timothy_Gallaudet and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_O...nistration .

We've had NASA and the DoD admit that there's extraordinary things in the skies we can't ID. We have the continuing phenomenon of major military and government figures saying publicly that NHI exist, we have credible videos... and it's all crickets from the public. Either most people already accept the likelihood of an NHI presence and are unmoved by it, or they're so skeptical that none of this even registers. I wonder which. People with Nell’s and Gallaudet's background and credibility can say what they said…and then crickets on the major news media?

All of which begs the question - what kind of disclosure would it actually take to incite public panic, which concern could be a reason for the continued coverup? I wonder if anything short of an actual invasion would actually result in massive panic or fear. I don't think even actual disclosure of physical remains from crashed UFOs or even alien bodies would be enough to cause such panic. Maybe the whole notion of disclosure being socially "catastrophic" is just flat wrong in this day and age after decades of movies, pop culture and countless TV shows that have normalized all of it, plus the general immersion and absorption in the challenging struggles of everyday life in a divided America.

Tim Gallaudet wrote about this last year as well ->

Quote:As a retired U.S. Navy flag officer, I can attest to the integrity and authenticity of the two pilots who testified: retired Commander David Fravor and Ryan Graves. I have served on three aircraft carriers and count many Naval aviators as close friends. These two witnesses are the real deal.

So is David Grusch. As a Navy information warfare officer, I worked closely with the intelligence community and Grusch’s former command, the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. I too have been read into special access programs, and I understand how Department of Defense classification systems and authorities work. His testimony is 100 percent credible.

The idea that Grusch is "100 percent credible" feels incorrect to me.

@nbtruthman it’s getting old. I understand there’s a lot of (retired) individuals eager to share David Grusch’s celebrity status (I would certainly also go public with some juicy UFO stories if it could make me a celebrity in a huge country of 350 million people), but from a debate perspective there’s not much additional substance in a additional testimonies. When the objective evidence arrives (which is never) it gets interesting.

Ah I disagree. I'm not sold on this idea of physical craft let alone corpses and crash site materials, but I don't think many of these people are reaching much celebrity status.

And I do think *something* is going on here, though IMO it's a lot of Weird cases in the genuine UFO part and government officials trying to hide more mundane but secret operations on the cover up part. I think this is going somewhere, even if not where the "nuts & bolts" people want it to go...

Also, not to be rude, but if people don't want to see it they can just not click on these threads??

The fact that their never is any associated objective evidence to these testimonials should be a big flashing warning sign. This is all about getting attention. And the objective evidence, mysteriously, never arrives.

Well like you I don't hold these most of these people in much esteem, a lot of their claims aren't strong on an evidence basis.

But I do think keeping track of what is happening in the US with disclosure is news worthy and worth posting here.

Yes, I overlooked that nbtruthman didn’t post this in the Skeptic vs Proponent section.

I would rather he had just one thread than be accosted with more "proof from ultra-credible witnesses" every time I log in.

Grusch made people think the data was there, but then nothing came of it.

Do I think there is something to disclose? If nothing else there are likely more reports of unidentified objects, and probably some Weird cases of odd human-like beings or creatures doing odd things.

It just seems more likely to me that what the US government - like any government IMO - is worried about are black book operations of mundane yet questionable activities (for example mercenary employment in foreign lands, attempts to blackmail or otherwise discredit historical "agitators", etc).

And that digging too deep into the UFO question is going to start getting close to things that would constitute a national and international scandal.
