either a troll or simply a poster too perplexingly absolute for my taste.

For me (in my opinion) the latter. Come to think of it, this could be levelled at me for my certainty about survival.

Hm not really, at least you attempt to provide evidence to support your position.

You've made it plain though you don't mean it like that. I hope the word Kiwi isn't an insult LOL.

I'm English but live in New Zealand. I guess that moving to a country in your mid 60's doesn't really change how you identify - so I still identify as English and probably always will.

I'm not insulted by the words Chuck uses to describe my post. I just don't really understand what the fuss is about. My initial problem was with Linda (nothing new there) and Brian jumped to her defence and suggested we go easy on her, only to follow that in another thread with an angry rant about Pssst.  I didn't accuse Brian of anything or comment about his posts, I just quoted them. I still don't see that as being unusual in the daily to-and-fro of forum discussion. I did, however, try to say to Brian that I understand how it can sting a little to have your inconsistencies pointed out. Chuck used the words unkind and then ignorant to describe my post - I disagree but am not offended.

Or both. Or neither. Now, I have clarified everything for you.

For the record, Brian seemed to have a big issue with the philosophy behind what Pssst often asserts. Brian used the pejorative, "New Age BS". I don't know the history of Brian's problems with Pssst but surely we all bring our informed perspectives to the table here? There are some of those "New Age" ideas that sit very well with my own worldview so I could object to them being characterised as bullshit.  I don't share the apparent certainty that Pssst brings to the debate but I have found myself in agreement on more than one occasion.

I don't know Brian from Bran, I haven't actively followed Skeptiko for years. Being pejorative in this sense is to have the effect of invalidating my POV. Which would include invalidating the hundreds of years of ET and spirit communication since this is where I derive my information. That's highly problematic unless you are living in a parallel reality where ETs and spirit do not exist, do not make contact and/or do not have anything useful to say (if they did make contact).

Two things are apparent. We are in an Age where, for the first time, separate but existing parallel realities are playing out on this Earth. The Brians' of that reality do not see the reality that I , and many others, exist within. The division will soon be complete as we vibrationally and energetically find ourselves in one 'camp' or another.

Second, it will be hard, first contact that will be the ultimate nail in the reality coffins of many, they simply will refuse to believe or they will be on another parallel Earth, which is their preference, where this information will be non-existent.

Okay, fair enough.
The fuss is strictly entertainment value.
