1. Where did Dianne go?

2. Did Cooper and Dianne slip into another reality at the electricity pylons?

3. Was there a reality in which Laura died and another in which she didn't?

4. Was the lady with the bug in her mouth Sarah?

5. Did the atom bomb open a portal to another dimension or parallel world?

6. Is bad Cooper waiting in the red room or is he done?

7. Do all Americans think that Englishmen come in two stereotypes: aristocrats and cockneys?

I forgot that I was going to try to answer these questions! Here are my answers, though they don't have any real answers, of course!

1. Diane was gone after she woke up and had become “Linda,” once again assuming another identity.

2. Yes, they slipped into a different reality, which they briefly discuss, when they reach “430 miles” by the pylons, and then cross and become “Richard and Linda” instead of “Dale and Diane.”

3. Yes, the showed hinted at that (her body, “wrapped in plastic” disappeared in the original timeline), but then Cooper enters the reality where Laura is someone else, Cassie Page, and attempts to “save her.”

4. With no information, we have to assume the girl with the bug in her mouth was Sarah.

5. The atomic bomb test, as it was the first, seemed to hint at humankind opening a portal — or, metaphorically speaking, opening a new portal to human evil.

6. Bad Cooper, or Mr C, is done for now as he is in the waiting room on fire and was sent back to the Waiting Room via the owl ring.

7. No, they don’t, but I replied earlier in the thread about that. Smile

Twin Peaks’ Lovers — Amazon has 26% off for preorder on the Blu-Rays, at least in the US. I ordered mine, but will take this opportunity to share my favorite scene(s) from the new TP.

Unfortunately, I can’t find it as one whole scene and have to break it up into two, three if you count the song “Heartbreaking” since I could not find a version that included the full song.

I actually found Dougie’s (Cooper’s) reaction to the song quite .. meta. How would he recognize the opening of Laura’s Theme, since that only exists in our world, not the world of TP? Why would he respond to that?

I keep trying to fix the first link/video but it won't do it. Sorry about that. There is something wrong with the embed and it repeats what I wrote as an intro. Ugh.

I hope you don't mind that I fixed it for you. Am happy to explain how I did it if you like so you can avoid the same problem in future.

No, I don't mind. Thank you for fixing it for me.
I got the blue-ray of Twin Peaks: The Return for Christmas. It's been interesting to watch the series again knowing what is to come. I have some completely different takes on it, now. Also, the blue-ray version looks amazing as I had to stream it from Showtime the first time around, and there were a lot of problems with night scenes and artifacts. I skipped Part 8 just so I could watch it again with no streaming problems/artifacts when I finish the series.

Courtesy of the Daily Grail - Twin Peaks has now been turned into a virtual reality game. Apparently David Lynch was given "creative control." A trailer is available:

I can't help wondering how it would work as a game. Presumably just when you think you're about to win you end up back exactly where you started ...

Isn't that Snakes and Ladders? Or maybe reincarnation according to Anthony Peake.
