Another oldie. I created the flat Julia in Gimp's fractal explorer then imported the image into Bryce 3D's terrain editor to create these rocks. Everything else was done directly in Bryce including texturing the rocks.

I tend to compose scenes like this without any regard for what everything is. It adds interest and mystery to the composition I think.
There's an amazing video on this page. I didn't link directly to the video because I felt an explanation was important.

I also spotted this on the same website: https://youtu.be/IpzeWjr8Tzs I have to say most of the 'art' on that website made me shudder, however. I managed to create one of these in TieraZon and another in TieraZon2. The TieraZon version deep styled in Deep Dream Generator. My own adaptation of the Meta-brot formula.
((((z*z^2+c)*(z*z^2+c)+(c*c+z))*((z*z^2+c)*(z*z^2+c)+(c*c+z))+((c*c+z)*(c*c+z)+(z*z^2+c)))*(((z*z^2+c)*(z*z^2+c)+(c*c+z))*((z*z^2+c)*(z*z^2+c)+(c*c+z))+((c*c+z)*(c*c+z)+(z*z^2+c)))+(((c*c+z)*(c*c+z)+(z*z^2+c))*((c*c+z)*(c*c+z)+(z*z^2+c))+((z*z^2+c)*(z*z^2+c)+(c*c+z)))) And deep styled |
