And I see Tom has joined the forum too. I hope he'll consider participating.

Just to say that I think the forum is working very well indeed so far. Contributions from people with a wide range of views, with very little rancour, given the controversial nature of the subject matter. Thanks to all those whose work has made it possible.

Hello everyone. We're just getting started and so we're very open to everyone's suggestions, comments or questions about the new forum, the structure, the subforum categories. Please let us know your thoughts if you have any.

This is a work in progress and all your input is welcome.

I don't know where else to put this post, so here it is.

I don't miss Skeptico one iota. 

Don't get me wrong,  I wish Alex the best of luck with his work,,, but this site, in a it's first month, is miles beyond that one in the scope of discussions and (at least for me) the compelling nature of the conversations. 

My head spins sometimes when I look at the wealth of active dialog going on. It's tough to keep up with it all. Turns out I'm retired so I have spare time I can spend here. 

Great job putting this thing together guys.

There is real potential here I think, which is a big change of attitude from my first post on this site... 

where I said this: We'll see what there is of interest here. Unfortunately, without the interviews as a catalyst for discussion, and a source of fresh ideas and context, I have my doubts.

Well thank you, jmac, for persisting even though it can get frustrating at times. I'm sure I'm not just speaking for myself when I say your posts have been very appreciated and do a lot to keep interesting discussions going.
