It was mentioned in another thread, but it bears repeating: the logo for the default theme of this site was designed and executed by Max_B. Speaking personally, I am thrilled with the job he's done. It is utterly professional, and he offered it as a gift, free of charge. Take a bow, Max, you have done us proud!

Is the compass in it is a double entendre? It makes reference to the titular "quest", but can also be a subtle nod to Max's own ideas about magnetic field. Clever.

Yes, I think it's a very good logo, that. I'm just getting used to the site so forgive me if I'd posted in the wrong place or something, I'm not the world's best with computers

Clever. Lol... I'm not sure it was intentional initially, I was just thing about the 'quest', and going for a ride through Thesaurus... I saw 'compass'... and an image materialized in my mind to the right of the logo... it was a couple of hours later I realized the same thing as you... and that sort of made it even better... perhaps it was my unconscious at work.

I'd say take a bow also Kamarling for coming up with the word "Pscience", and I think it was dear ol' Stan Woolley who came up with "Psience Quest". I thought the word "psience" might be at first confusing, but Max's split-color-and-half-italicized logo really makes it crystal clear, in addition to being really attractive and elegant.

I rush out some favicons for bookmarks and browser tabs at 16x16px, 32x32px and 96x96px
You might want to put them into the site using a bit of html 5 some where in the header (not sure where)... not very good, but better than blank? Code: <link rel="icon" type="image/png" href="https://cdn.yourwebsite.com/favicon-16x16.png" sizes="16x16">

So for now you'll only see the default-logo in some of the themes, if anyone is wondering. EDIT: The logo should be in all the themes. I see though that some themes need some editing for other functions...

Well you can always turn one of them into a favicon.ico file and stick it in the root public html directory, that way it will appear on tabs and bookmarks, at present the site shows nothing.

I uploaded your 96x96 size png icon to this site, Max, and then followed the instructions to install the files: http://www.favicon-generator.org/
Thank you very much for this much-welcomed addition to the site. Please let me know that you now see the icon - if not, you might want to try either a hard-refresh of the page or deleting your browser's image cache.
