The "Rosalie" case, in which Harry Price claimed to have witnessed the bodily materialisation of a dead child at a London seance in 1937 - but to be unable to publish verifiable details because he had promised not to - presents an interesting puzzle. Some documentary clues survived, but subsequent researchers weren't able to match them to any real location. Two years Paul Adams published a book on the case, entitled "The Enigma of Rosalie: Harry Price's Paranormal Mystery Revisited":

Although the book had been diligently researched, I'm afraid I didn't find Adams's proposed solution at all convincing. I was a bit surprised that Tom  Ruffles's online review for the SPR was so positive:

Now an even more positive review by Alan Murdie has been published in the SPR Journal.

Yes, I’ve read it. This may be more of a reflection on my own meagre intellect but  I found it tedious, poorly structured and hard to follow in places.

It evidently doesn't help that it's bound up with the controversy over Harry Price's reputation. Considering it's 90 years since he was called in to Borley Rectory and 71 years since he died, it's surprising that people are still so exercised about it.

Have you not seen the number of "ghost photos" floating around the Internet? Some people seem to spend their whole lives discussing them. We've even discussed a few here.
