It was only until this year that I had enough personal experiences to prove beyond all doubt. And it's funny because in hindsight I had enough evidence to believe it years ago, but we live in a society that is so hardlined against any study or acceptance of it that I think it turns even most people who experience it into unreasonable skeptics in some form.

That is a choice those people made, they weren't "turned" by anything other than what they choose to believe. Either one believes that Life happens to you or through you, that you are responsible for everything you co-create in your physical illusion or you can choose to believe that you are a victim.

Either way, it is a choice.

Before you go all apeshit, get your facts straight about the members you address and take the time to find out their backgrounds, line of thought, posting histories and basis for their POV. Unless you are desirous of having the experience in your physical reality of being labelled a "foolish hothead" and having to dig yourself out of a self-imposed status of questionable credibility.

If that is the case, nevermind.

Oh man, the irony.

wow who the heck is "we"? Huh

You're waaaaaaaaaaaaaay out in the weeds, young lady.

I asked "Classic expression of a lack of self-worth perhapsregarding the fact that you don't consider yourself, or spirit, or anything else as far as I can surmise, as special. That's a perfectly valid way to create your physical reality and I, for one, will much enjoy watching you along the way.

For now, why not jump out of this forum and into the discussions elsewhere? Perhaps something more than a personal story all about yourself?

Called her "young lady".

Do you really think it's fair to criticise somebody for discussing their personal story in their own introductory thread?

I get it: you have an entirely opposite view ("everything is") of what is special than do Dreamsoap and Mediochre ("nothing is"), but maybe you could try to be a little... gentler... in discussing this difference with somebody(ies) who has (have) only just arrived on this forum? It's not exactly the most welcoming of approaches that you've taken!

If a singular instance of having a random spirit appear before you to talk about cooking and aluminum foil makes one a 'Messiah' - then what the hell does it make those who have repeated conversations with spirits every day? Does that mean they're all 'New Age Messiahs' too? And furthermore how do you determine which one is the REAL 'Messiah'? I'm honestly surprised, have you not put a single iota of thought behind this? Nothing mathematically follows. It's no different than having said hello to a celebrity in passing and taking that experience to mean you're the president of the united states, and all existing presidents are frauds. Even that analogy doesn't work though because spirits aren't celebrities, they're regular people just like those that walk the earth because that's what they are. There is nothing intrinsically special about having talked to one because thousands of people do so every day across the globe. Some have a very derogatory view of humans because of these attitudes. Some will purposefully present themselves as 'gods' and 'angels' and spout a bunch of bullshit about that person being 'the chosen one' just for shits and giggles, because they know it takes literally nothing for those humans to believe it at face value.

He’s not the messiah - he’s a very naughty boy.

Thanks for saying it; if someone else didn't say it, I would have. I only saw the new posts in the thread because it's in my "Alerts" --  but how... patronizing.
And I apologize to Dreamsoap on behalf of all of us who hijacked her intro post to talk about NONSENSE that does not matter.

Again, welcome, Dreamsoap!

But you refuse to give a basis for your POV when asked.  At best you give people riddles to try and solve.  I don't believe that you believe anything you write yourself.  I think you are an arrogant, pretentious and very pathetic little troll who has ignored the title of this forum and turned it into a whacko woo new age forum.  I don't believe this forum will win many intelligent members while the people here remain gullible enough to accept the likes of you.  I've tried to stay away from here but every time I pass I see some pssst faeces lying around.  I just had to reply to this one.

No you didn't, you chose to. So much for self-constraint!
