Quick Edit not working

Quick Edit is not working. It allows you to edit the text in the text window, and to click on "Save result", but the posted text doesn't change.

This problem was also reported by Chris in the recent thread Board Problems. I speculated in that thread that the problem was due to caching issues related to the recent upgrade, and suggested a series of steps (in that same speculative post) that might be attempted to try to resolve the problem. Perhaps you could try them and let us know whether they work for you - the second one worked for me when I experienced a similar problem.

I noticed the other day it didn't work for me, but it works today. I have recently cleared the browser cache, which probably has fixed things for me.

I just tried the first of the three suggested fixes (Reload a page showing editing icons using not just ctrl+R but ctrl+shift+R.), and it worked. A little cumbersome but workable.

Oh, good, I'm glad it worked for you.

And if you say it's a little "cumbersome" because you're thinking you're going to have to press that combination of keys every time you want to post, then rest assured that you should only have needed to do it the once - that will have updated the cache with the current version of the relevant files.
