Quote:"Perhaps the most famous of all researchers of the phenomenon, Jacques Vallee, says that the current situation – with UFO sightings regularly in the news and a high profile government investigation – very much reminds him of a similar scenario five decades ago.
In discussing his seminal 1979 book Messengers of Deception: UFO contacts and Cults (recently released for the first time in Kindle ebook format) with the Daily Grail – full YouTube video interview embedded below – Vallee said that watching the recent government hearings “reminds me absolutely of what it was like 50 years ago”."

Comment: I think Vallee's expert opinion should be taken very seriously. This is still a mystery, after more than 50 years of trying hard to plausibly explain these things as weather balloons and temperature inversions and hallucinations and imagination and whatever. And finding out that statistically the more data there is on a particular sighting the more strange and unexplained are the objects. This is the opposite of what would be expected with something that actually has various conventional explanations. The old saying "Where there is smoke there must be fire" comes to mind.
So this long-term apparently indefinitely extended failure to conventionally explain the UFO phenomenon prominently and stubbornly leaves open the possibility that UFOs are what they seem to be in the best sightings - aliens from another world (or from somewhere else we might not be able to imagine) with exceedingly advanced science and technology.
