Banned from Skeptiko until 15 Feb

Hi all,

David has banned me from Skeptiko until the 15th of February "for posting ever more stridently and being very rude to Lone Shaman". He refers there to the exchange I had with LoneShaman in the thread "234. GLOBAL WARMING, CLIMATE CHANGE AND OUR ILLUSION OF CONTROL" from post #1,395 on page 70 to post #1,420 at the end of page 71.

I don't intend this to be a melodramatic announcement - I post this only because David has refused to announce his action himself on Skeptiko, and I want people to understand why I have "suddenly disappeared".

Ah, thanks Typoz and Steve. That was what David originally told me, but when I woke up this morning I was confronted with a message on every Skeptiko page saying I had been banned until the 15th of Feb, which surprised me.

After you're unbanned post this for Lone Shaman. It directly concerns his anti climate change posted link  "no trick zone" website. Snopes

I don't want to comment on what goes on, on that forum, Laird. But you might want to consider whether or not you think it's worth going back, my friend.

Advice is okay but by and large everybody makes up their own mind and so they should. But I think it's quite amazing (and laughable actually) that you, (a former administrator and someone who did so much for that forum) has been banned (even temporally).

I'm surprised you continued there Laird.  I'm one of the few who has never been banned but I haven't been back.

I'm amazed I was never banned there. I actually probably would've deserved one. But now I'm here. The only thing I should go back there for is to delete the remains of my old posts.
