A leaf in the sunlight

I was walking through Östra Kyrkogården and the late summer sun was shining on the graves and memorials and there was a thin blanket of golden leaves on the ground.  The air was still and the birds were singing and I listened intently.  Suddenly, a leaf fell to the ground in front of me and everything else that has ever happened to me became irrelevant.

I like that. At one level it sounds like "being lost in the moment", but it sounds like something more than that, my words are too clumsy to add more, except I'm glad you posted this.
