Exploring the Mindful Way
Philosophies:
Believe what you wish but understand the implications of what you believe.
When encountering an extraordinary event, seek first to find commonalities with other extraordinary events and known science before assuming something new. Always err on the side of the mundane.
We realize our immortality by following the Mindful Way.
Humanism over politics.

Just checked in and found this thread. To new here to comment on the community but I will say that it has become difficult to find a place to conduct meaningful discussions about things paranormal. I maintain a board for an association that is pretty much in mothballs, I think, because Facebook is a lot more fun. I am no psychologist, but it seems to me that people have turned to the here now--gone in a few minutes social media as a way of satisfying the herd instinct without needing to be responsible for mindful discourse. I have a saying in a book to the effect: The Way of Progression Through community comes knowledge Through teaching comes understanding It takes a collective This is one of the few places I have found that meaningful discussions occur. It would be a step backward for all of us if it closed. Conversely, it is for all of us to see that it does not. |
