What were you trying to say when you wrote the following?
Because, to me, you seem to be saying that several decades ago it might have been the case that research was biased to benefit the pharma companies but now procedures have changed and that no longer happens. Those links suggest otherwise. They are confirming what I was talking about but I see no hint that all is hunky-dory now.
Ah, I see now.
I was indicating that scientists have been aware of these issues for decades and actively working to improve the situation while also regarding the research coming from these conflicts of interest as suspect.

I'm genuinely intrigued though still not convinced. Could you show a handful of your information sources to give us an idea and something to research for ourselves.

Google no longer provides links to anti-vax material so I only used mainstream sources: CDC website, Wikipedia, VAERS website, and a few studies. If I have time later I’ll come back with specific links but this stuff isn’t hard to verify.
I’m still refusing to have the flu shot... one of the studies I looked at showed just how effective it was, particularly amongst younger people. Really amazing effect. But there was summat weird happening with the results from much older people, as more of those having the flu shot were getting ill, than those who hadn’t had the shot. There seems to be something going on that is not well understood.

Yep, and they’re not even willing to hear any questioning voices like yours. It’s full science ahead!

My goodness - my knowledge is unbelievably far behind! I was thinking of having my first flu shot this year but now I need to research it. I knew nothing of this - thanks Max!
I think I meant the scientific establishment ie Doctors, Pharmacists, nurses, anyone whose interests may be threatened by people like Max and me, people that don’t just blindly accept what they say as ‘fact’. Thinking about it, I also mean those on Social media who have spent little or no time researching it, but are only too willing to call us anti-vaxxers and immediately place us in a ‘smelly box’, they are backed up by scientists, so they must be right. Right?
