The US government probably made a wise call in this matter because almost all of the conspiracy nonsense revolved around the word “classified.” Not any more. Now, if you want to wade through pages of fuzzy nothing, nothing other than your sense of the value of your time is stopping you.

Will be interesting to see what story the UFO celebrity industry comes up with next.

I haven't read through the released files myself, but every report I've seen indicates the same thing: this is a nothingburger.

I'd caution against the interpretation you seem to be making, for at least two reasons:

1. This US administration has a history of conveniently incomplete releases of files (Epstein, anybody?) and of release-as-distraction rather than release-as-disclosure.
   
2. Given that even members of Congress who have an interest in this subject are having to be informed by whistleblowers, it's anyway unlikely that any branch of government has direct access to the most revelatory files.
   

I completely disagree. No one is ever happy. Just the fact that in congress, this stuff is being discussed is impressive, given the fact that forever, people denied anything even existed to even take a look at, just making people feel they are crazy or delusional. You have members of congress, Luna, etc., stating they have observed things that are unexplainable. 

While some of the material has been out for a while, some of the Apollo imagery, for example, has been on the CIA website for years. 

But there are plenty of other videos that are pretty interesting, UFO's and USO's and some, yes, have been debunked, but not all, and not all videos shown were previously known.

Also, if you listen to Knapp, Puthoff, Grusch, and the others, as well as claims of what some have seen, that will be released soon , something about 46 more videos to be released, maybe something interesting will come of that.

Even Neil Degrasse Tyson is jumping on the bandwagon..probably for his upcoming book release, but still.

All I am saying is , could it be a distraction from Epstein stuff? Yes. Could this all be misleading and some sort of conspiracy ? Yes

But I believe two or more truths could exist at the same time.

Maybe all this stuff is real AND Trump is releasing it now to distract from the Epstein stuff, AND Trump has such a huge ego, he wants to be responsible for, or a part of, the release of this type of information, if its true.

Do I have trouble believing Puthoff, when he claims there are four alien species? Sure

But all I am saying is, it not just a big "nothing burger," .. the simple fact that its being talked about and brought up, I think is cool, its not so "fringe" anymore, plus some interesting things have come out regarding the recent releases and the idea of even more interesting things coming our way in the coming days or weeks, gives me , at least , a little hope or optimism. 

So , i dont know. maybe it will turn out to be a big nothing burger. But when you have all these stories, well credentialed people, all these missing scientists, yeah , its possible my mind is combining things and making connections that arent there and maybe the same 25 people are regurgitating the same stories and it is its own echo chamber... or maybe... there is more to it. That's what I am hoping!

Just incidentally, by the first release being a "nothingburger" I didn't mean to imply that the UFO phenomenon as a whole is a nothingburger. There's clearly something very anomalous going on that has huge implications and needs to be taken seriously.
