I'm actually extremely bemused - on the one hand this guy has a Nobel Prize, or the other, the idea that DNA can reproduce by broadcasting a radio wave seems outlandish.

On the whole, science degrades in a less spectacular ways, dodgy statistics, cherry picking, manipulating drug trials, ignoring those who find faults with supposedly well-established theories....

And

DNA used to make the world’s tiniest “radio”  It uses light signals to show protein changes in real-time.

And

Luc Montagnier died in 2022, after starting the DNA antenna idea, and after stating that Covid likely came from a lab, which is now shared by the US intelligence community (I do realize that oxymoron)...

So, wake up doubters, this entire thread was a testament to what continues to be wrong with forums like this. Attacking people for religious beliefs, doubting ideas, belittling thoughts, and trashing people sharing their own truths. Keep pounding everyone else into the pavement and science will get nowhere. Keep preaching for freedom of religion while telling people what the limits to that freedom are, as long as your religion isn't on the cancel list.
Most of you should be seriously ashamed of yourselves. May the haters have moved on to desolate sands that used to be pastures of green.

Piss off and join a cult then. Come back to apologise after it's ruined your life.

Wow, bad day? Need a hug?

A btw, not that it is really anyone's business, but I was raised by Pseudo-Christian cosplay cult people, with extreme violence and abuse. Plenty of the cult members never go to doctors, and pray for healing, and many have gone to jail for child abuse and causing unnecessary suffering. We should ban all Abrahamic cults if you want to start somewhere that would make a positive change in the world.
So, please don't blindly tell me to piss off and join a cult. That is just childish in my opinion. I have been there and survived that.
So excuse you.
How about you take a step back and apologize yourself?
Do you think it is wise to trash people who are being used as organ donors by an evil empire? Is this what you are condoning or protecting? I would think not.
What damage has Falun Dafa done to you or your loved ones?
Now compare that to 600 years of Catholic murder and abuse, or all of the spin-off Abrahamic nonsense abusers we tolerate that have caused multiple wars and the genocides, division, and hate they spew. Are they cults? Yes, in my opinion, they are.
This entire thread went totally off-topic for Radio Secrets of DNA. And it still appears to generate some kind of personal issues that make you tell me to piss off and such. Shame... but it does underline some things that are reflections of past discussions, doesn't it?

Then you should know better than most not to try to shame others for pointing out the problematically cult-like elements of a religious organisation, shouldn't you?

Clearly not. I align with Ben Hurley's sentiments which I quoted in post #10 in this thread: "This article is in no way an attempt to justify the Chinese government’s ridiculous and violent campaign against Falun Gong."

Life isn't black and white. Wrongs are often committed against wrongdoers by wrongdoers too.

The premise of your question is morally inane and even bankrupt: wrongs don't have to have been committed against us personally or against our family to be recognised and called out as such.

You think this applies to everyone in some cult, but not to the mental health crowd.
You have a lot of ideas that are twisted. Stop trying to project your moral issues onto me, you don't know me.
