The graphics design of the forum

The forum looks good, in my mind, and seems to work well also.
A suggestion would be, if possible, to make the boarders between posts more distinct.

There are buttons at the top and the bottom of a post, and it can be difficult to see where they belong.

I agree, Slorri, posts weren't sufficiently demarcated from one another. I've added a 30 pixel margin to the bottom of posts. Please let me know whether you think this solves the problem, or whether we need further action.

Yes, better.
Maybe the line just above a post should be darker and thicker also.
How's this? Too much?
Laird, it might help if you could darken (and maybe thicken) the line separating the posts.

Good.

Done, although I'm not sure it's all that aesthetically pleasing.

That's a better way of putting it. What would your solution/suggestion be, Max? Right now this dividing line is 4 pixels high with colour #333, and the bottom margin of posts is 30 pixels high. Hit us with your best alternative!

Difficult to say, depends on what your options are for adjusting colours, and it would take some time playing around. First thoughts are reverse your change, and then I'd try playing around with the colours of the background of the main top bar (which contains the avatar), and the background of the bottom bar (which contains the like buttons etc), seeing what it looks like (kept neutral but slightly darker #e9e9e9 perhaps), you can't go much darker than that without adjusting other things. So if that's not sufficient it's possible you could add a bit of tint too it, a bit of yellow to warm it up to a buttermilk which might look OK with Blue, but that can throw other things out. Honestly it's impossible to say... but as it stands, the center body, and the top and bottom bars (already mentioned) are a little too close.
