Fair enough! I'm at a point right now where I don't have or favor having any beliefs one way or another and somewhat disinterested in "weighing the evidence". To me they are just all possibilities. But my attitude may change at a future point. Just shared that newsletter because I happened onto it. (2019-08-05, 07:18 PM)Ninshub Wrote: OK, now I understand. Fair enough! There are plenty of these topics where I remain interested, but am not fighting hard to 'establish the truth'. In fact weighing various types of evidence pretty much leads me to consider there cannot be a single version of what is true. Even scientific topics such as gravitation can be considered in different ways, such as a force of attraction, an acceleration, or a distortion in space-time. I'm sure we haven't yet reached the last word on that example, there will be fresh insights yet to come. |
