Before the hockey game (Canadiens-Red Wings) started tonight, about three hours or so beforehand, I had a thought about my stepdad, who I know watches all the Montreal games, and I wondered whether I would join him (he lives 5 minutes away). I was confident about the game given the last recent stretch and how they had fared against the Wings just two days ago, and in my mind I thought I'd tell my stepdad, "Tonight they're going to win 10-0". Which if you know hockey is an extremely unlikely blow-out. Then my mind said, "No, 10-1". I imagined he'd just laugh at me. I wasn't seriously trying to predict the game, but it's just a thought I had and the kind of thing I often do with him.
I stayed home and watched the score on the internet as I was doing other things and.. that was the exact score tonight. It was 8-0 and I think in the 3rd, and then Detroit scored a lucky one, and I started to smile. When they hit 9-1 I just knew they'd put another in.
Just thought I'd share that. Anybody here have precog or lucky-guess experiences with sports like this?
