Last posts in thread sometimes not visible when logged in

I'm seeing a problem on the site that is difficult to recreate... it's been happening for about the last 2 weeks, it seems to spontaneously clear when more posts are added, then I can find the problem again. Basically the index of forum threads show the last post to the right hand side. But if you go to the thread, that last post is often missing if I'm logged in... so that I can't view the last post in a thread. If I log out, the post becomes visible again. I've tried logging in and out and it's reproducible for me. The same happens if I got into my profile, and view all posts... I can see a summary of the last post... but if I click on it, it goes to the start of the thread, and I can never reach the last post.

However, This is the first time it's happened to one of my own posts? This particular one is 6 hours old. I wanted to edit it. But I can't get to it to edit it. It's listed in the forum summary as the last post, and shown with a small bit of the start text in my own profile. But it will not display... clicking the link to the post, just jumps to the opening post of the thead, and the post is not showing at the end of the thread. Although I can see the post when not logged in, one has to be logged in to edit ones own posts, where upon the post is no longer visible...

Below shows the forum index, and final post on the thread when logged in... when logged out... you can see the problem...

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

Try pressing F5 when you are in that thread, and see what happens!?!

I was having the same thing happen some weeks ago when in forums with no sub-forums. I didn't do anything and it stopped occurring.

Nothing happens...

It seems to be that pagination is broken for forum members who become members of the hidden groups, the next new page of any thread is not available until it has 2 posts. The 1st post on the next new thread page remains hidden.

Looks like that hidden forums update broke the site.

I'm now reading the site on two different browsers... Cry

Yeah, I've left it, thanks. Making the new group invisible, seems to have had other invisible effects.

Yep, I'm having ongoing problems with this and it is frustrating... It only happens with some threads, but once it happens I have continual issues with that thread

Do you all use the Default Theme for the forum?
