Terje Simonsen was mentioned on this forum. He is a historian of ideas who wrote the 2013 book Our Secret Powers: Telepathy, Clairvoyance and Precognition: A Short History of (Nearly) Everything Paranormal, well received by Radin, Krippner et al.

He's interviewed on this podcast along with historian Bruce Solheim, author of the recent Timeless: A Paranormal Personal History.

Apparently his book has been republished on paperback, so he's making the rounds.

Terje was also interviewed on Skeptiko.

The title does not do justice to this book, which introduces a lot of material I haven't seen before.

For example, there is a section about archeologists that use psychic help to find where to dig. The skeleton of King Richard III was located in this way.

Obviously there is some overlap with things you will already know about, but less than you might expect. Some new material comes from his native Norway.
