BOOKS: Credible Witness & Credible Witness II

Two short, but great books by retired police inspector Andy Gilbert to check out... Credible Witness  Thumbs Up  and Credible Witness II (only just published) filled with British Police Paranormal Stories...

Andy hasn't buggered around with the stories, or embellished them, they are factual, and nicely written... and many are stories from police officers which they have barely spoken of before, for fear of ridicule, or damage to their careers in the police force. After publishing his first book in 2017, many more police officers came forward confidentially to tell him of their own stories... allowing him to publish a second book in July this year.

The content mainly consists of Haunting, Apparitional and Time-Slip stories... but they are mixed up with some other cracking paranormal stories, including UFO's, Poltegiest, Out of Body, NDE type stories etc.... and they are all really high quality... amazing books... get them both... they are dirt cheap (funds going to charity) and brilliant.

What’s one of the most interesting stories you’ve read out of the books...?
One of my fav ones is the high speed pursuit of a stolen car in North Birmingham, which flipped over during the chase and hit a lamppost, completely flattening the roof. Seconds after the accident, the two police officers in the last of three pursuing police cars to arrive, saw somebody get out of the car and run across the road. As the person runs in front of their police car, they are illuminated in the vehicles headlights. Both police officers recognized the person, as he had been recently arrested by one of the officers, and the other officer knew the persons name. The person ran off, disappearing into the darkness of a large grassy recreation area.

There was some confusion at this point, as the officers in the other two police cars had not seen anybody get out of the crashed vehicle. However the priority at this point was to ascertain if there had been any other occupants in the crashed car. The fire-brigade arrived, and cut off the roof of the vehicle. There was only one occupant, who had lost their life due to the extent of their injuries. It was initially difficult to identify the person, due to their injuries, but a few moment later his identity was confirmed. The deceased person inside the car, was the same person whom both officers had seen run in front of their police car.
