Book reviews - Coincidences, UFOs & more!

As I'm here, I thought I would post a few books reviews from my recent readings.

First of all, I'm about 130 of 600 (!) pages into this book:

and just saw this link to Sharon's blog and it appears to have 5 free chapters maybe?!:

Anyway, I think many members of this forum would really appreciate and enjoy this book, it is chock full of amazing, thought provoking and potentially informative stories across the whole spectrum of "paranormal" (not just coincidences per se).

Also, I recognise Sharon's name but cannot recall from exactly where, I searched google for podcasts with her in, but no results were prominent. Then I wondered, she wasn't a poster on Skeptiko was she? Also, Andrew Paquette is mentioned in there too (Like a few other books I've read recently!).

Anyway, the book is fantastic if you like to read your anecdotes.........I feel every story adds another piece to this wonderful puzzle we call consciousness and existence!

Book 2: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Evolutionary-Me...1789040876

Another fabulous book which will be deeply appreciated by many.......but, probably unlike the above book, not all (or even the majority?).

It's a book in the vein of Vallee, Keel, Colin Wilson and several others, who look at the UFO phenomena as some kind of interaction with the consciousness of humans helping us "evolve" (gross oversimplification by me, but I'm not getting paid for this review Smile ). A perspective, it could be argued, which could apply to most "paranormal" phenomena?

Book 3: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Flip-Epiphanies...1942658524

Another great book! Kripal, paranormal experiences, the dialectic between materialists and those who say consciousness isn't reducible to materialist paradigms. Not much more needs to be said! It's not, imo, as good as some of Kripal's previous books, but it's still better than most!

Book 4: https://www.amazon.co.uk/High-Weirdness-...1907222766

I love Erik Davis' podcasts (now on sabbatical Sad ), and I thought his "Techgnosis" book (thanks, Sci, for pointing that book out to me!!) is a work of art. Simply for that I mention this new book of his here. I really enjoyed it, but it covered subjects I was already quite familiar with so it didn't have the impact of Techgnosis. But, it's Erik Davis, so I gotta recommend it!!

Cheers all!
