Thankfully mass prayer doesn't work. Just imagine the chaos if it did!

I'm generally of the mind that focused intention can have an effect but it's just a belief.

But yes... imagine the chaos! Perhaps the world is how it is in the first place because of the mixed intentions of 8 billion people, lol

I suppose it won't work if it doesn't make sense to God.  If these people believe in the power of prayer, why don't they just ask for it to die completely instead of causing havoc somewhere ekse?

Sorry, I didn't mean to detract from the awful horror of this.  Like everybody else, I can only hope for the best possible outcome and wish everybody well.

Well, some are focusing on it weakening and evaporating and others are wishing it go one way or the other. Conflicting messages all.

Interesting if you could have a few billion focus on a single thing at the same time. Wonder what'll happen when earth more or less becomes a hive mind via future internet tech. Could they collectively stop the earth from spinning??
