Their analysis of the first video - the one that's the subject of this thread - doesn't make sense. They say that it reminds them of other orb videos where there's an object flying in a straight line at seemingly crazy speeds, but the aeroplane itself is flying (in the opposite direction) at a crazy speed, which is why when it's tracked the orb seems to be flying so fast against the ground. Clearly, though, the drone that captured the video which is the subject of this thread is stationary or near enough to it, so the comparison doesn't hold.

Moreover, if it's a balloon as they say it is, then the wind that's propelling it is pretty fierce. Unfortunately, there's nothing (else) in the video that could demonstrate one way or the other whether or not a wind actually is blowing. Presumably, the government agency which is investigating would have looked into that.

This brings us to the point alluded to by @nbtruthman - government agencies with more information than these guys and us are taking this seriously, and they don't accept just any old evidence. In the case of the Tic-Tac incident with which these guys compared this one, there was far more than just video data - there were all sorts of anomalous and extraordinary radar confirmations, not to mention the observations of experienced fighter pilots.

It's just too blithe and easy a blow-off.

That's not to say that the rest of the video isn't of merit. They do seem to detect a genuine fake at the end.
