I don’t think they’re debunkable (is that a word?) as you’re reporting what you saw or felt and your interpretation of it. If you’re asking for alternative explanations it’s hard because there isn’t really much detail, other than perhaps misinterpretation of what you did see.
Both experiences you mention are however potentially corroborated by other people which suggests that what you saw was really there, although what it actually was is hard to say.
