Below you will find a series of links to the Crash Story Files – sub-stories that present documentation and conclusions about specific issues related to the credibility and claims of the “witnesses” to a purported UFO crash and military recovery near San Antonio, New Mexico, in August 1945, the subject of a book titled Trinity: The Best-Kept Secret, by Jacques F. Vallee and Paola Leopizzi Harris (2021, 2022). Each of these Crash Story Files is being published as a freestanding article with its own URL. Curious what people think of this. I'm a big fan of Vallee's examination of the historical record where odd "UFO" cases extend back further than modern times, but it does seem this is a hoax he fell for...have to dig in a bit deeper to see if this debunking is legit though.

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

Honestly not sure what to think from this.

I am wary of the debunking as well because there seem to be a lot of things I'd have to double check. I also am not writing Vallee off or anything, especially since my largest interest in him is not his own ideas but simply his research onto Weird "UFO" events in history.

But I don't think I'll be using this case as a data point.
