Curious what people think of this. I'm a big fan of Vallee's examination of the historical record where odd "UFO" cases extend back further than modern times, but it does seem this is a hoax he fell for...have to dig in a bit deeper to see if this debunking is legit though.

Honestly not sure what to think from this.

I am wary of the debunking as well because there seem to be a lot of things I'd have to double check. I also am not writing Vallee off or anything, especially since my largest interest in him is not his own ideas but simply his research onto Weird "UFO" events in history.

But I don't think I'll be using this case as a data point.
