OK, I seem now to remember vaguely what you're mentioning about everyone plans out their lives, although I'd have to listen to it again. "babaji" must be Papaji (HWL Poonja), very influential Indian sage, student of Ramana Maharshi. I don't remember that bit but I'll try to track it down again. Thanks.

Because of what I've gone through and the sheer amount of work I've done and am still trying to do, I don't give a shit about what someone's experienced unless they've gone through the same amount of work I have to figure out what is and isn't real. They had damn well better be able to detail reams of experiments that they ran to test their experiences along with all their limitations and so forth the same as me. Otherwise they're probably just drugged out hippies high on their own unicorn farts, and I'm entirely done paying any attention to anyone like that. I'm far from perfect but I also admit that fully, there's so much I simply don't know and I don't just invite skepticism of what I say, I outright encourage it and tell people they shouldn't believe me. I didn't hear even an ounce of that from Spina, or at least he'd pay lipservice to it almost like it was just an item on a checklist for the appearance of rationality and then go back to spouting a bunch of nonsense as fact without any mention of how he knows that his conclusions are accurate. I imagine this UK guy would be just the same just from that tiny statement and I'm not going to waste the time to find out.

Yeah, it sounds like channeling definitely is not your thing!
Good on you for all the work you've done. And though I've made progress, I still haven't succeeded at my goals with magic, and I know I've worn down over time so who even knows if I'll succeed at all. Still, its part of why I respect the podcast and wanted to share it, since she went to the extent of setting up interviews with people on all sides of the spectrum, whether parapsychology skeptic or researcher, religious or non religious, etc, she did her due diligence and that makes this podcast worth listening to in my opinion. She's a very good example of what people who have experiences like this should do and that probably has helped the popularity of the podcast.

Yeah I've started episode 3. She's also sharing some personal stuff that happened, and inviting people whose perspective can be different than hers (a roommate who found her mean). As you say it's very good to have Loyd Auerbach on there as well.

This is the episode page of the website where it's possible to hear them as well, as opposed to the home page or whatever the other one was. https://www.thechillingpodcast.com/podca...nted-house Is it possible that there's a rewind function that I'm not seeing (here or on Spotify) cause sometimes I'm listening while doing other things and I get distracted for a minute and it seems I can't restart except from the beginning. EDIT: OK I see it's possible on Apple podcasts. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/th...0582427801 (2023-05-13, 02:35 AM)Ninshub Wrote: OK, I seem now to remember vaguely what you're mentioning about everyone plans out their lives, although I'd have to listen to it again. It is indeed Babaji: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahavatar_Babaji |
