Interesting Experience...

Quote:Quite suddenly I popped out of my body and had a bird's eye view of the garden below. This was a frightening experience and I quickly popped back. I have tried to rationalize the cause and think it may well have been me picking up vibes from the meditators as well as having my eyes de-focused by the gravel. I have had incidents of telepathy, premonition and a ghost sighting in my younger years but this out of body leap was the most shocking.

Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

On the day it was originally posted, I did a quick google and found the original in a few seconds. It took me a bit longer today, but here it is:

Interesting. It's been a few years since the last time I had a (relatively) similar experience

I do wonder why, whatever their cause, such experiences can often be so brief, just barely long enough to register and make an impression. There are plenty of skills one can have and excel at until crunch time comes (test day, tournament, etc.), but this isn't anything those who experience it have any conscious control over or awareness that they're "doing" it until it happens (the only thing comparable in my life is flirting).
