However. Smile

I find it an endless source of fascination to read what people have to say on wide ranging subjects. It seems clear to me that those we consider skeptics on the Psi subjects are fairly predictable when it comes to politics and conspiracy theories (usually left-leaning social liberals). Our proponents, on the other hand, are all over the place. Some are Trump supporters, some are NRA members who would consider their material belongings worth killing for while others are almost indistinguishable from Malf and other skeptics when it comes to these subjects.

So what does that say about the two groups? Why is it that atheist/materialists (including all of my atheist friends) are drawn to the socio-political left but proponents cover the whole spectrum of political hues? Is it down to personality types such as the (probably mythical) left-right brain dichotomy? I really can't put my finger on the reason but I also find it interesting that many proponents started out as skeptics and many hard-line skeptics were brought up in strictly religious homes. There again, most of those who share my "proponent" views would deny any leaning towards religion as much as they would towards materialism.

As I said: fascinating.
I do not make any clear distinction between mind and God. God is what mind becomes when it has passed beyond the scale of our comprehension.
