Not a big fan of the insinuation that if this was Steve001 or Linda the reactions would be different. I personally think more skeptics would be better to help balance things out here. They tend to notice things the believers miss, and vice versa

I'll let him know that at least some regulars are curious about what he's thinking about nowadays and if he'd be willing to continue tracking his thinking publicly with some new posts [to his blog].

I oppose any move that encourages deletion of this thread. 

Sci, as you’re obviously somewhat pally with Max, why not also ask him why he acted as he did? If he hadn’t done so, this thread wouldn’t exist.

If his changing thoughts motivated his deleted posts, I hope he keeps his blog intact. It'd be nice to see the evolution of ideas over time.

Don't you have to test those ideas ? What is the value of evolving ideas with no evidence to support them ?

You're a gentleman, Typoz and that always serves you well. However, personally, I don't think the subject of Max's mass post deletion should be made an inappropriate topic. No one here is going to be rude about Max, we all like him. I liked him (I didn't like his untested, unsupported ideas, but surely that was okay). 

Honestly I think he should just come back and reinstate his posts and lets all forget about it.

I'm going to agree with this and lock the thread.

Members are free to start another thread and bring up again if they wish the general points here, but I don't think it's fair to allow comment on Max when he's no longer here.
