It's not arrogance, knowledge is never arrogant or elitist or prideful.

True that.

OTOH: I would say that it is arrogance to believe that there is nothing in creation that you can't understand.

If you are of the belief that you are something other than an infinite being, a reflection and pure expression of All That Is, then you, sir, are correct!

Yes and no.

I'm not so sure we have the ability, from within our self imposed life here on earth to cast off those limitations we subjected ourselves to. Once we are here, we must deal with those limitations whether we want to or not.

Here's a fun analogy-
I'm a paraglider pilot. Several times, a few thousand feet in the air, I have found myself the victim of horrendous and life threatening conditions. In those moments I've found myself wishing that I was still safe on the ground. Unfortunately, all the wishing in the world could not change the reality of my situation, and I was forced face the fact that I was the victim of my previous choices, and I had to deal with that reality, and those life threatening forces with the limited tools I had at my disposal in that moment.

If I am right, we all have made choices to limit ourselves in order to have a valuable 3D life experience. Those limitations are a fact we can't run from. We must deal, here and now, with life events the best we can, within our limitations, using the tools at our disposal. Removing those limitations we have imposed is not an option for the most part. I say this, but in truth, I also work daily to eliminate what I can, through my various practices.

When we transition back to our more natural non-physical state, we will get lots of time removed from the shackles of our limitations to assess our success or failure. But that will be a project for another time.

Ummmm. You continue to miss the point.

Let me try once again.

While incarnated in this life I believe we are able to experience but a fraction of our true selves. Try as we might the vast majority of us can access only a tiny portion of what we truly are. Throughout our life we are fooled into thinking we are flesh and blood, and separate, and relatively powerless.

I am quite sure we are all unfathomably powerful beings with capabilities far beyond what we imagine. But that fact is inaccessible to most of us. And nearly all of those who at least have come to realize this is the case, still lack the ability to claim and use this power.

For me- this is the root of my daily practice: to peel away these layers of insulation between my flesh and blood understanding of myself that I've learned through decades of incarnation, in order to see and realize, and more fully experience the actuality of my true being.

I hope you can now see how far off the mark your last comment was.

You have every right and responsibility to yourself, to those in your spiritual arena, to state your preferences. May I suggest another POV.

You see Life as imposed on you. I know that I create my Life (experiences). To quote you "Once we are here, we must deal with those limitations whether we want to or not."

Correct. When we incarnate, we chose themes to experience in physical reality. The contract is breakable.

Enjoy what you have chosen to be the reality that is most relevant to your experience. I thank you for your input!

It might be helpful if you were a tad less cryptic. It's difficult to see exactly what it is that you're getting at

No, actually. I don't see life as something that is imposed on me. I was very clear about the fact that life is a choice I made. I have no idea why you continue to convolute this fact. Are you doing it intentionally?

And as I also said in great detail in my last: I realize, as you said, the "contract can be broken". This is the whole purpose, focus and point of my daily practice: to remove the limitations I have chosen.

I have no idea why this isn't clear at this point. But I will just leave it at that because further beating this to death makes no sense to me.

Thank you for the discussion.
Anyone can post anywhere on this forum, correct? I would love to hear from some of the skeptics about their opinions on this stuff, if they're around.
