Pete Townshend's OBE

Thanks for that @Ninshub  and the additional quotes.

What is interesting to me is this:
Quote:From my new vantage point the LSD trip was over. Everything was quiet and peaceful. I could see clearly now, my eyes focused, my senses realigned, yet I was completely disembodied.

There is a great contrast between the drug 'trip' aspects just before and what seems to be clarity and almost a kind of normality during this OBE phase. And then as in the quote I shared, the LSD (sic) kicked in again as he returned to his body.

In a way this is very similar to someone with some physical  problem causing great pain, then an OBE/NDE which is peaceful and pain-free followed by a return to the body and the restoration of the pain as well.

Yes, and evidence of the consciousness when once out of body no longer affected by the chemicals in the brain, one could argue.
