Please don't patronise me, Laird. You do a good job of what is a difficult job (appreciated too) but this morning (UK anyway) not in my opinion. And Linda can't make a convincing case why it's offensive because it isn't and she wants her thread back.

You could have just asked to have off-topic posts moved elsewhere, rather than "cancel" your thread, Linda. We would have been happy to oblige.

I always used to think that "other topics" forums were a good idea; that we could remind ourselves that we are all human and not enemies; that despite our differences in the main forums, it is possible to get along together.  How disappointing that we can't!
