I agree, Sci ! It doesn't sound particularly interesting (his hand not getting wet) until one considers why he would report such an odd observation. Yenson was told (Thanks Typoz) (from memory), that the elements don't (can't) break down. If you think about that, are we not envisaging  immortality here?   I remained in contact with this man until he died (I sometimes wonder if I bored him to death with my silly questions, bless him)
