Icelandic Elves

Here are two recent articles on Icelandic elves, and what lies behind polls that suggest as many as two thirds of Icelanders believe in they exist (or at least believe they may exist). One is by Rob Schwarz at the Stranger Dimensions website:

The other, a few days later, is by Brent Swancer at Mysterious Universe:

Both mention the Elf School in Reykjavik, run by Magnus Skarphedinsson. Reading between the lines, the Elf School is probably a way of raising funds for the Icelandic Paranormal Foundation by educating and entertaining tourists. At least I hope so.

Ah, come on, Chris. Be a little more open to the possibility of other forms of consciousness-life, and a little magic. :-)

No, I'm quite open to that side of things. I meant it sounded as though it might just be a tacky tourist attraction. But from the reference to boxes full of research notes, I don't think so.
