For me it was just a matter of simplifying what  I see to be in accordance with my interests. I usually just stick to the Related Topics section anyway, occasionally glancing at the "higher" forums from time to time.

I don’t know why, but knowing that you deliberately choose not to even see certain forums, unsettles me quite badly.

It’s probably my ego. Confused

Is Sci making a wise choice?

Am I making a wise choice by judging him?

Does my intuition really give me a choice?

Can any of these questions be answered using Yes or No?

I must start meditating again!  Wink

My personal view is that we make decisions for ourselves, and any dependants such as children. Other than that, we don't presume to make decisions on behalf of others - that is their own role.

As for judging - in the life review (ask Tim!) typically a person may judge themselves. I don't think there are many examples where people get to judge others. Wink

Meditation - sometimes I don't do enough of that myself, but I do recommend it - for myself especially, and it may be beneficial for others too.

If only that were true on earth.

Still, it all adds to the fun.  Big Grin

Studies have shown that we continue to remember and use information as though it were true, even after it has been revealed as false - the Continued Influence Effect. It may be better to just focus on areas where you are more likely to be exposed to good information, relevant to your interests.

Linda, you really drive me nuts with your faith/belief in some things.  Big Grin

The difference between us is that I think you’d prefer to censor my posts, while believing yours are ‘sensible’ and ‘scientific’, while I’d prefer to allow everyone a voice.

I could see you easily as head of the CDC or WHO, that sort of thing.

While I call the sort of information you promote "misinformation". I don't really see any sort of common ground in that. So why would I be interested in your preferred forum, and why would anyone be interested in my input there?

It seems reasonable to me to leave each of us to our own devices. There's no need to call any of us ostriches just because we don't buy into your perspective. It's not like you buy into my perspective, either.

The only thing I see as consistently promoting would be my stance on vaccines. Which is not totally anti- vax. The current topic I just see the would be silencing of people like Peter Hitchins and other journalists as being dangerous. It is often assumed that I hold a certain POV, when in fact I’m often undecided. I would tend to go with the ‘batten down the hatches’ at this stage of the event, but I definitely see trouble ahead if it goes on too long with no real evidence of ‘death & destruction’.

I push where you are quite content to stay silent, I don’t know why I do so, I’ve always been inclined that way.

I like people to be able to ask questions, where I see people like yourself think they already have the answers.
