What exactly are you guys seeing? (I'm just not sure what "a long list of adjustments" means).

And when you say you've tried a full page reload, does that include via ctrl+shift+R? (It is important that both Ctrl and Shift are held down simultaneously before pressing R). It isn't especially bothersome for me, but it is what it is. (2019-06-28, 11:20 PM)Ninshub Wrote: This Laird. I can only get imgur to work for some reason, not adding an attachment, so I hope you can make something out of that.
Maybe adding an attachment is also a bug in this upgrade.

EDIT: Online forums for MyBB keep saying "make sure that ./uploads/ is CHMOD to 777" for this particular issue.
I don't know if it's because I'm doing it wrong, or if the bug that affects what I see on the forum also causes this. I'm using Firefox by the way.

Edit: I see the same thing with Chrome.
I think the problem with the editor is with the Quick Advanced Editor Plus plugin that we are using - it hasn't been updated for the new version of MyBB, in particular the new version of the visual editor, SCEditor. I've temporarily disabled it. With a bit of tinkering, I might be able to get it working myself, otherwise we'll have to wait for an official update. What this means is that visual editing is disabled for quick replies (the reply box that appears at the bottom of a thread page). If you want visual editing, either click "Reply" in a post, or the black "New Reply" button down the bottom of the page.
As for attachments, I'm not sure why they're not working for you, Ian. Perhaps you can include more details - e.g., are you getting an error message, and if so, at what point? Or otherwise, what exactly is happening? |
