CE-5 Experience

Hope you are all well!

I just had a CE-5 experience about 20 minutes ago. For those that don't know what that is, it's an acronym for "Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind". It is a human initiated contact experience made "famous" by Steven Greer, and the subject matter is gone over quite well in his most recent documentary. Whatever your opinion on the guy may be (and I still have reservations myself), I done the contact protocols and witnessed something....

Here is my experience;

I had an inkling to try this out tonight and I knew just as soon as I looked up, that I could make it happen tonight. It was like when I looked up at the stars from my attic skylight, I could feel their presence and there was an energy associated with that....

So I was looking up at the stars. Keeping my mind open and sincere with my desire to make some sort of contact. About 5 minutes went by and I suddenly saw what looked like a satellite move down vertically across the sky. I studied it for a few seconds and noted that it seemed a bit odd looking for a satellite in some way, when it just slowed down and stopped. As in, stopped moving completely. For about a second and a half. Then it started moving downwards vertically again across the sky, wobbling. It would stop a couple of times and then move direction slightly on a new path, but overall its trajectory was vertically down as view from my skylight. It would slow down and stop a couple more times. And yes I tried to get a video but it was not very bright and my phone wasn't even able to pick up the stars in the ambient conditions. So maybe next time I shall try to fix that...

Thoughts and questions welcome...

I'm sure you've done this, but how have you eliminated conventional, skeptical explanations for your experience?  (Optical illusion, other potential light sources, etc.)

You said, "It would slow down and stop a couple more times."

... which left me thinking - and then what? Is it still there, did it move away, did you fall asleep or stop watching for another reason perhaps?

Were there any emotions or thoughts accompanying your experience, I'd expect surprise or curiosity, but did you feel anthing else at the time?

It wasn't a scientific experiment, so I didn't control for any of those if that is what you mean.

But if you mean, did I think that any of those things could have accounted for or affected what I saw, then no, I don't believe so.

My eye was fixed on the object, relative the frame of my skylight, so I could tell that it was slowing down, wobbling, stopping, and then moving again.

I am open to it not being what I think it was, so that is why I intend to try again with some footage, though it may not be very clear on my phone. But for me, the fact that I had done the protocols and then seen it not 5 minutes later, is beyond coincidental for me...

Ah yes. So it would stop, and then wobble a little, and then move away again. I watched it until it moved out of view, blocked by the frame of my skylight.

And actually it wasn't too shocking or surprising to see. What I felt during it was more like, AHA, there you guys are, with lots of curiosity. It did feel 'personal' though and I felt compelled to watch it until it went out of view. Then just before it did, I funnily remembered to myself all of those times that people say they didn't get it on camera, and then the other person just rolls their eyes and says "of course you didn't"  LOL .....which is when I went to actually grab my phone and tried, but even the stars weren't visible through the camera and I didn't have a lot of time to mess around with it, so I just watched it until I couldn't see it anymore from the edge of my skylight. The whole experience lasted about a minute.

As for emotions and feelings beforehand, then yes, it was more profound. Feelings of awe and connectedness to the universe and the stars, as a kind of living thing was almost bluntly present. I just 'knew' I would see something....FWIW

This is quite similar to what I saw, with the way it would wobble and slow down and stop briefly. Although my sighting was more obvious when it stopped and was a bit longer. And it was quite a bit brighter and bigger.

Take note of the erratic movement. That is very similar to what I saw.

P.S might want to mute it, apparently the guy is quite distracting with his voice lol!

We don't have any real reason to doubt that you experienced seeing what you saw. The big question is what was it, really.

There have been many accounts of UFOs that seemed to appear and respond to the thoughts and desires of the experiencers. I don't know of any cases where they were captured on film or video, but I think we can be fairly sure actual physical lights did exist having the reported characteristics and behavior, especially since sometimes there are multiple witnesses.

Summarizing some of the main logical possibilities for this sort of account, and my assessment of their likelihood:

1. Total conscious fabrication by the supposed experiencer. Negligible probability.
2. Hallucinations generated by the subconscious mind of the observer in response to conscious desire (a sort of confabulation). Negligible probability.
3. Hallucinations induced in the experiencer or experiencers by some other entities whether they be aliens in UFOs or something else. Moderately probable.
4. Psychokinetic physical manifestations generated by the subconscious mind of the observer in response to conscious or unconscious desire. I think highly probable.
5. Psychokinetic physical manifestations generated by some other entities in response to human conscious or unconscious desire. A moderately likely hypothesis.
6. Alien vehicles (UFOs) whose occupants are responding to human thoughts and desires for communication. Moderately possible.
7. Alien vehicles (UFOs) whose occupants are directly stimulating or compelling the human observers to themselves hallucinate the observed lights. Moderately possible.

Indeed, there are many possibilities!

My way of taking a stab at what the truth may be, is to "try on" a theory. So for example, I will "go along" with the Greer stuff to see what can be obtained from it. Try it on for a size!

I don't fully get sucked into any one theory or belief these days because in the past, it has bit me right in the Buttocks as yer' man Forrest Gump once put it!  Wink

So we shall see. I'd be open to discussing the problems with the Greer story. For example, I'm not sure I really buy that there are no bad ET's. There is plenty of evidence in my opinion to suggest otherwise.

One thing I do 99% think is correct, is that the UFO thing is linked with consciousness in a fundamental way i.e how I "made contact".

Hopefully the skies are clear tonight....
