From the papers, the organisations income and substantial assets were simply taken... and it happened 30 odd years ago... those who took it are still feasting on it, as well as on the few remaining rich old members... shows you just how dumb the majority of the board were at the time... to allow this to happen... all paranormal researchers...

I wouldn't think being a paranormal researcher is relevant to being dumb on business. If scientists in any given field can be idiots on history, philosophy, art, or basic social skills, then this or any board can have their pooch thoroughly screwed by lack of business sense and bad luck.

Not just academics. Nikola Tesla, subject of a book entitled "The Man Who Invented the Twentieth Century" was disastrously poor as a businessman.
