Unaired pilot episode of The Beverly Hillbillies.

That original pilot was much funnier than the show itself, at least as my fuzzy memories of watching it as a child when it was in syndication go.

A bit of trivia. "The Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction and Green Acres" were all by the same network and geographically located in the same reqion of the US. At times characters from all three shows would make crossover guest appereances. I think "Green Acres" was the funniest of the three.

Actually... just watched the trailer, and it's rather good 

Watched a bit of it. I love horror and thriller stuff, but the trailer didn't make me want to watch the film. (I dislike the "torture-porn" genre.) Maybe I will give it a look if it shows up on Netflix!

I like "The Prisoner". Actually, I recently rewatched the Patrick McGoohan episodes of "Columbo" - he was the murderer in four (three of which he directed) and directed another one of the original series. (Actually, I see he also directed the penultimate episode of the revived series, with Billy Connolly, which I don't think I've ever seen.) All the episodes are freely available at the Internet Archive - until someone complains about copyright, I assume.

I didn't watch the new, American version of the "The Prisoner." The UK version has been a fave of mine for maybe twenty years. I don't remember how I stumbled across it -- I think it was a marathon on BRAVO? Anyway, I fell in love with it and own the DVDs, which I watch from time to time.

I've seen Patrick McGoohan as a villain in a lot of stuff, but I didn't know he portrayed one in "Columbo"! I barely remember that show -- my parents watched it. I do remember he was the villain in "The Silver Streak," a comedy-thriller with Gene Wilder. (Miss him, too.)

They are generally very clever, well constructed "inverted detective stories", in which the viewer knows who the murderer is and how the murder was committed from the start, and the interest lies in how the murderer's guilt will be proved. McGoohan played four different murderers because he was a close friend of the star, Peter Falk.
