Well I also didn't [consider]  the image's distortion would match any real person's face which was short sighted on my part.

I remember watching "The Paper Chase" TV series the first time around.
This episode from June 1984 has a challenge of humans versus computer. Though entertainment rather than documentary, it was interesting, mostly because it is from more than forty years ago.
