Psience Quest

Thought I'd contribute to this with a recommendation for the newest incarnation of The Twilight Zone, narrated by Jordan Peele. The second season came out several months ago, and there are three episodes (ones I found to be quite well-written and enjoyable as well) in this season that focus on parapsychological topics and the paranormal that I highly suggest watching (no spoilers for the endings of course):

• Meet In The Middle, about two strangers who appear to be linked by a telepathic bond. 
  
• The Who Of You, about a struggling actor who discovers he has powers of mind transferal/swapping. 
  
• Among The Untrodden, about two young girls who become convinced at least one of them has psi powers. 
  
• There are also several episodes in both seasons about extra-terrestrials, though there were some episodes in both seasons that (to my personal disdain) had more physicalist leanings/interpretations revolving around them.

Not sure if this has been recommended on here before, since it's a fairly new show that's just been renewed for a new season...

This show is about a skeptical forensic psychologist, a tech expert/haunting debunker and a globe-trotting, in-training Catholic priest/paranormal investigator analysing cases of apparent miraculous and/or demonic activity, questioning whether there really are dark supernatural forces at work. It's a bit on-the-nose at times (and the second episode might have been inspired by the Pam Reynolds case or something similar, I'm not sure) with the 'skepticism' but it's generally well-written and engaging. 

Also, it's a horror, so expect some jumpscares and violent content!

I'd forgotten to tell you the last episode was simply amazing...that deep sense of love he had for his mother was truly conveyed IMO.

I really hope there is a Season 2, this format was really inspired. Matching podcast recordings with animated stories *shouldn't* work this well, but they really pulled it off IMO.

Honestly this is the kind of stuff proponents should be putting out, the emotional resonance of a meaningful life and meaningful love.

If ever I saw a man living his life’s destiny, it is this. Rick’s an expert about music in so many ways, but one of the things I like most has been watching his followers grow from a few hundred thousand to over 2 million in a short time. His ego hasn’t grown - I kind of Love him! 

Agreed, Steve. I've watched a fair few of Rick's videos in the past. All of the tech-talk about major seventy-fifth chord progressions with an alternating b-flat and a minor cherry on top, etc, goes way over my head (not yours though, I expect!), but it's cool to watch and listen to. He really seems to know his stuff and have genuine insight into, and a great passion for, music, a great ability to break down songs and song-writing, and he just generally seems to be a really good guy.

Definitely mine too. I played by ear, sadly I knew hardly anything about theory. Next time around maybe? 

I admire and respect Rick SO much for what he’s doing, I really do feel that he’s a fantastic example for others, not just musicians. His videos quite often make me emotional, and it’s not just the content! I can feel his love for the music through the video. I feel quite sure that others can too, that is why he’s so popular. 

Put it this way, if in the afterlife this part of Ricks life isn’t celebrated with the oft talked about ‘choir of angels’, I’d be having a word with the big man!    

For me, his videos sometimes make Love visible.
