Uri Geller - What do you think?

It's funny that how after weeks of reflection you have nothing new to say on the topic. Not even a new type of criticism. Just hero-worship of Randi - over and over. Surely even you must get bored with the monotony.

The problem is that Randi was right, he is a trickster. take away his props,and he can't bend anything. If he really could, he would have proved it under seriously controlled conditions. The only time he was disallowed to use his own stuff failed horribly.

Now, take a look at galium. That thing becomes soft at very low temperatures, enough that body heath and friction can make the spoon bend. It's a trick, nothing more.

If you come at me and say that you have superpowers, you have to demonstrate them in a clear and transparent manner. No way I'm allowing room for tricks and doubt, as about one hundred years of parapsychology shown no results in macro PK and it was always just magicians doing it. Also, as far as I am concerned, nobody won Randi's challenge. Guess that if you take away their tools they are just normal persons.

EDIT: I'll add, Randi is arrogant and rude, but when he is right he is right. Pararesearchers, due to their bias, have been fooled more than once by con artists and magicians. i suspect it was the same with Kulagina too.

My point, in case it was missed, was that it seems no research or investigation has been done. That, regardless of the topic, is pretty much detrimental to the ability to make a useful contribution.

I've made aall the research possible, and nobody tried to test his ability of spoon bending in a controlled environement. This shows that either the researchers or Geller were scared, knowing that the experiment would be a failure.
